Hot Foil Stamping

This process is the application of a foil (often gold, silver) to paper or board substrates. A heated block is stamped onto the foil securing it to the material surface and leaving the design of the block on the material. Hot foil stamping can be enhanced with embossing or debossing to create a more pronounced finished image.
